It’s that time of year again where the weather gets cooler and now it’s time to head out to the fall festivals and of course the pumpkin patches and corn mazes.  Below is a compiled list of all the pumpkin patches and corn mazes that I know of around Rome.  If there are any that I missed, please let me know.

Berry Patch Farms [directions][770-926-0561] – Take the hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch — A great picture-taking opportunity for the parents!  Pick out your pumpkins and take the hayride back to get some apple cider, a homemade fried pie and some boiled peanuts and popcorn.  The kids will enjoy the playground and baby farm animals.

Bradley’s Pumpkin Patch [directions] [706-265-1447] – Come to Bradley’s to pick out your holiday pumpkin.  Our pumpkins are grown right here at Bradley’s and are available in October til they’re gone.

Burt’s Farm [directions] [706-265-3701] – This is the biggest pumpkin patch that I know of.  They have literally thousands of pumpkins and some get up to 150lbs.  This place is terrific for taking pictures because of different variety of pumpkins and the various sizes.  They also have Hayrides daily which is fun as well.

Cagle’s Dairy [directions][770-345-5591] – We tend to go to this one every year because my daughter loves that big huge pillow of air you can bounce on.  They don’t have the greatest selection of pumpkins but they do have a fun hayride where you get to make smores and hot dogs at the bon fire and a fun corn maze.  They also have a calf barn, corn cannons, and a kiddie korral, and more.

Pritchard Farm [directions][706-378-0119] – Pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting zoo, mining sluice, hayrides, bonfires.  Probably the closest pumpkin patch farm to Rome.

Pumpkin Patch Farm [directions][770-773-2617] – Make plans to celebrate harvest’s bounty at Pumpkin Patch Farm this October.  The grounds are filled a vast array of pumpkins for carving, cooking, and decorating.  All ages enjoy the narrated hayride along Oothcalooga Creek and through the pumpkin fields.  Children fall in love with the barnyard critters.  Goats, calves, rabbits, ducks, and chickens are just a few of the friends you’ll make at Pumpkin Patch Farm.

Southern Tree Plantation [directions][706-745-0601] – This looks like the only place that still have the pumpkins on the vine.  I haven’t been her but if they actually let you go to the pumpkin  patch, it would be great for pictures.  They also have hayrides, plantation animals, the wooden maze, train rides, pony rides, marshmallow roastings, and many more activities.

Uncle Huck’s [directions][770-772-6223] – Explore the corn maze, find your perfect pumpkin, shoot the corn cannon, great food and fun, haunted maze on weekends, bonfires, hayrides.

Washington Farms [directions] [706-769-0627] – Plan to have fun again this year on our PVC slide, a neat tunnel slide, and a fun corn box! Shoot ears of corn out of our Corn Cannon! Next, hit the target with our Pumpkin Launcher and win a prize to take home! You can also have fun on our high rope swing, our playscape with swings, the hay bales, and the hay jump. Take a fun hay ride and visit the barnyard animals! We have picnic tables available, so bring your lunch and enjoy the afternoon. Pumpkin patch, corn maze, Farmer John’s Pig Races, cow train rides
