Description:
Christmas is a very special time of the year for all of us in Rome and Floyd County. This year is even more special because we are celebrating our 175 year anniversary. The Rome Christmas in Rome Committee invites all of you to be a part in our celebration. The theme this year is:
An Anniversary Christmas – Celebrating 175 years of Christmas in Rome”
Take the time to celebrate with your fellow Romans by participating in the parade or just coming to Broad Street to experience the excitement and fun of the season with us.
The Christmas in Rome Committee works hard each year to bring you the best parade of its kind in all of North Georgia with well over 100 entries of walking groups, bands, beautiful floats, and, of course, Ole’ Saint Nick himself. Rome’s Christmas parade is one of the largest in the State of Georgia, and folks from all around come to enjoy kicking off the Christmas season in Rome.
