Description: Hey Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. All Things Artistic is planning our last week of Summer Art Camp!!! Our programs are designed to be inspiring to both the artistic side and creative side of the little people that you love. We have several different projects that they will learn how to build, decorate and use their imaginations to create beautiful works of art. Art Camp is Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and the cost is $125 per week. For this last week (July 20th-24th) we are discounting it by $25! Call it a back to school special! Armuchee Summer Art Camp by Myra Hunter

When: July 14th – August 3rd. Every Tuesday & Thursday from 9am – 3:30pm

Where: 37 Rosedale Rd., Turn right on Depot Rd., just past Armuchee Elementary and follow through 3 stop signs, turn right on Rosedale Road, just past Floyd Springs Baptist and Methodist Churches… 1st house on left.

Price: $100 + $25 materials fee

Description: During the school year, students move from class to class by the bell, trapped in a classroom. This camp provides the very best creative alternative. Students may focus on any project(s) of their own choosing, for as long as they like. There will be many to choose from: mosaics, printmaking, collage, papier mache, sculpture, digital photography, drawing and painting (water color, acrylics, chalk and oil pastels) from life in a quiet, peaceful, pastoral setting… a quaint 113-year old farmhouse on over 2 acres of land (Armuchee area), with huge oak trees, flowers and woods complete with cats, dogs and chickens. The students will find a very relaxed comfortable setting without the imposition of time and project constraints. They will be allowed to let their own unique creativity flow! This summer will be a time of celebration of childhood, creativity, adventure, exploration and pushing the boundaries of what we know and believe we can accomplish. YMCA: Kinder Camp & Day Camp

Price: $42 – $95

Description:

KINDER CAMP – for ages 3 to 5. Designed especially for the younger child. Your child will enjoy a full day of adventure at the YMCA. A limited number of half day spaces (8:30 AM – 12:15 PM) are available. Daily swim lessons in the YMCA pool include water safety & the basics of swimming. Other activities include arts & crafts, supervised play time and field trips.

DAY CAMP – for ages 6 – 12. YMCA Camp Bryant is the home for campers during the day. Includes a pavilion, restroom building, an archery range, playing fields and nature trails. Tennis lessons will be offered to each day camper. We also have daily free swim in the YMCA pool.

Camp begins at 8:15 AM and ends at 5:00 PM daily. Early drop off begins at 7:45 AM and late pick-up is until 5:45 PM. Bring a bathing suit, towel & frozen water bottle (for day campers only). The YMCA will provide breakfast & lunch for 7 weeks. Financial aid is available for those who demonstrate a need.
